“Director of Family Ministries and Discipleship”

Taylor Chapel is currently receiving resume’s for a new full time ministry position: Director of Family Ministries and Discipleship. Taylor Chapel is a growing, positive United Methodist Church, in a growing quadrant of NE Fort Wayne, seeking to develop vision, outreach and ministry to all aspects of family life and discipleship in our community and church. Our vision is to reach our community for Jesus Christ and develop new, creative, innovative ministry that sees the family unit as the key area for developing faith, positive and healthy relationships, and experiencing God’s love.  Taylor Chapel is also passionate about helping people grow intentionally on their spiritual journey as a Disciple of Jesus. This new position will break new ground in developing an entirely new approach to ministry in our community and church.  We are excited about building the ministry team that can help lead Taylor Chapel to the next level of ministry. This person must be comfortable and accepting of a Wesleyan approach to theology and faith. Experience in these areas of ministries, as well as familiarity with newer cutting edge ministry resources is essential.
