Sunday Worship: 8:30 AM & 10:45 AM | Educational Hour: 9:30 AM

We believe that worship is the expression and experience of the presence of a living God among his people in gathered community.

Jesus said, “Whenever two or more are gathered in my name, there I will be in their midst also.”

This is God’s promise of being present to those who seek Him, who desire a relationship with Him. And when God shows up lives are transformed, new life happens and we the purposes of God are inspired and empowered in us and in our community.

Our desire is to create the sacred space that allows people to find God in their lives and express their love and praise and gratitude to God for His love and mercy. Through our gathering, we engage all of our senses in experiencing the holy in our midst. Music, liturgy, silence, spiritual conversation,  fellowship, hymns, praise, prayers and the Word of God read and proclaimed all play important roles in our worship experience.

Our desire is that each worship experience is intentionally planned with you who gather in mind by providing the sacred space of authentic Christian community in which you can leave worship aware of God’s presence in your life.

To do this we offer Two Worship Services at 8:30 and 10:45.

8:30 – Traditional Worship

In this service we normally use hymns, a choir, and liturgical responses (doxology, etcetera). It is not unusual, though, for more contemporary music and liturgical resources to find their way blending into the service as well. Dress is still casual and comfortable – whatever suits you best.

10:45 – Contemporary Worship

In this worship experience, we depend upon our Praise Team to lead us in worship with a variety of more contemporary but meaningful Christian music.

The same message is presented at both services. Come and try one out! Try both if you want. See which one best leads you into the presence of God in worship.

Feel free to let us know what you think about your experience visiting Taylor Chapel! We love to hear thoughts from our guests.
