Beliefs

Taylor Chapel is reaching up and out through Jesus Christ because all people matter to God.

The ministry of the Church is shared in Acts 2:42: "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." This verse describing the earliest gatherings of the church speaks of four priorities which we are committed to at Taylor Chapel.

-The Apostles's Teaching: Teaching, learning, and applying the sacred scriptures. Our spiritual growth as Disciples of Jesus is an ongoing process which we seek to encourage in every person.

-Fellowship: Sharing the love of God with and through the body of Christ and the community. There is joy in Christian Community.

-Breaking of Bread: Worship and sacrament, which provide the means of grace as we grow as children of God, are key to who we are as a people of faith.

-Prayer: Listening for God's leading and longing for a close walk with our Lord and Savior.

Our goal is to transform lives by experiencing the grace and love of God, create Disciples of Christ, and to provide encouragement and friendship to all.
